Now that i got sound next I wanted to get it online.  I got an airport as the wireless but it to far away to run a cable.  So i decided that I could take my Airport Express I travel with and set up a WDS network.  After some fiddling got it connected.  Nice thing about the apple wireless stuff is that once you set this up, you can use the  ethernet from the airport express to add wired devices to the network.

All is well in Australia we are almost 1/3 of the way through the 2nd leg of the Restore Tour.  First day of performances where long doing the show for 4 services at Hillsong.  In 2 locations 2 shows at the main hills campus and 2 shows at the city campus.  The staff at both where so friendly and willing to help.  There is no way we could do that kinda schedule without their help.  After that we have been plugging our way trough the eastern coast traveling north to Queensland.  YOu might have seen pictures of the floods in Australia.  Most of them where in the Queensland.  Though the tour did not encounter any flooding.

Next was the typhoon to the north.  It was about 1200 miles away so did not see any effects of the storm til the war hot air engulfed us.  But tempatures are settling down and the sea breeze is back.

Well off to do the last show in Queensland before heading south to Victoria.

Verse 8 what i keep going back to.  The last 8 months in my life have been less then what Most american’s would define as Good.  I have been unemployed for that time.  I have been living with my parents and taken odd jobs to pay the bills. All I own in this world is a 13 year old car, couple bags of clothes, and a couple of boxes. It was not the plan I had for myself. Nor what I dreamed about 5 years ago.  Yet I have food and clothing, and i am starting to find contentment in that. As well as thanking God more for little thing.  I think I am living the unamerican dream.   Which I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Recently I have been wrestling with the duality of America…

We want to be paid top dollar…. but buy the cheapest products.

 We say we want workers to be treated fairly regardless on where they live… but we will buy the cheapest item without asking why is it cheaper.

We say we want Justice…. but settle for less

Just a few thoughts…  night

I think I have always know what makes me “come alive.”  Why do I fail to see it until I step away from it.

And as I do technical ministry I feel that it is speaking to me.  I have been thinking of how we (the church) care about what everyone thinks and was that the “cool” worship set, or trendy thing that will bring  MORE people in.
