I wanna play xbox
Well I really wanna play my xbox. The problem is that i am in limbo. All my stuff is packed up and I sold my tv a while back. I got out the Xbox and my monitor that I use for a secondary display for programming. I have a cable that i can plug the xbox in to the VGA. Problem being no sound because i have no idea what box my speakers are in. So i though well i could thought the audio from my macbook pro mic in to the speakers out. After playing with the audio settings and garage band this is not the case. After some searching on the internet i found a program called LineIn from the fine folks at Rogue Amoeba.
Now that i got sound next I wanted to get it online. I got an airport as the wireless but it to far away to run a cable. So i decided that I could take my Airport Express I travel with and set up a WDS network. After some fiddling got it connected. Nice thing about the apple wireless stuff is that once you set this up, you can use the ethernet from the airport express to add wired devices to the network.
